During this course, you will study various units surrounding electrical installations and be assessment is through a combination of online multiple-choice exams and practical assessments. To start at Level 3 you will need to have completed the Electrical Level 2 qualification
You will continue to develop fantastic problem-solving skills along with a vast understanding of how electrical systems are wired and how they operate, as well a an understanding of design and site management. This knowledge will be across multiple systems including lighting, power, and control systems. Skills also learnt are cable containment systems such as cable tray, trunking, PVC and metal conduit etc. Workshop sessions continue to be very hands on.

You will be assessed using a variety of different assessment methods
Successful completion of the Level 3 Course qualifies you as an electrician, however, to become fully qualified you will need to undertake an apprenticeship standard with an electrical company. Becoming an electrician can be one of the most enjoyable and interesting jobs in the building and engineering industries.
